My bf (mgbgt89) and I rode out to Utah last year. Here we had to stop because it was a desert it seemed like, and this popped up out of no where! Lots of rocks in Moab though, we actually slept in between two mesa's the night before this was taken. Gotta love the west.
My Dad was a farmer and there was a rock that stuck up about a foot in a hay field that you had to watch out for when cutting hay. One day he decided to dig it up and be done with it. He went after it with the backhoe and when he got it out he couldn't believe how big it was. My Mom always loved rocks and pink rocks especially so he moved it to the yard near the house. After they passed and we sold the farm my Brother told the guy that bought the farm that he wanted the rock, he said let me know when you want to come get it and I will help you load it. It took 3 tractors with loader buckets to lift it so they could back the trailer under it.
Hahahahahha, yeah, easy to do in that area! Open gate, shut gate, fork in the road, STAY OUT signs, repeat...
