Sorry Luke!! Honestly, I've only gotten brave enough on the CRF since the Dragon, which was just last weekend. :D

I still need tires for such occasions. It was "fine" but I'd been happier with a little more tire.

Thanks again for riding yesterday guys! MikeF must have special ADV mind reading powers; I was thinking "damn, I need to ride!" yesterday and got done with a class and there's a text!

Don't ask how I did this, I'm still not entirely sure......all that "road" to my left and I end up there. (I think we were riding a stream/creek thing and this is where I tried to cross to get out and obviously failed)
street tires = things happen really fast.

    Heifer Down!

    Oops! :rofl

    Fixed enough! Thanks guys! :clap

As a side note, I'm liking the 230 more; it feels reasonably light & nimble while riding it, just the "picking it up part" that really sucks. I can't wait to try a ds better tire and see how that helps.

I put some work into the Tengai this weekend. Removed the crashbars & giant skidplate. I just ordered some OE grips and footpegs (who puts MX footpegs on one of these pigs) & a bunch of new nuts, bolts, spacers and such. It should look nice and fairly original by the end of the summer.

That said.....it is presentable enough to be entered into the 4th annual Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club Show and Swap meet this Saturday at Iron Pony.

    Only $10 to enter one bike & $5 for each additional bike. Classes for 60's 70's, 80's & 90's

I do not currently have a bike from the 60's, but I am going to bring something for each of the other classes.

Come on out and see some cool old stuff June 23rd, 10am - 4pm.

Nice meeting you today. Unfortunately I won't have the time this weekend to enter a bike in the VJMC meet but am pretty sure I will be ablle to at least stop by, assuming one of my 60's Honda's fires up.

I see it starts at 10, how long does it take? Could a person conceivably be done by 2?

Conceivably. It'd be cutting it close.

It is divided into two sections, you could ride just the first and bug out after lunch if you were running late.

Me and a friend are planning to head over. I'm on a WR450 and he is on a WR250. Probably be in a slate blue Murano pulling a trailer.

Also, saw a butt load of adventure bikes at the National Trials event in Toronto, OH this weekend. Think I recognized a few of the bikes from pictures here... especially someone on the white KTM Adventure. That was our club (trialsinc.org) which put it on. Hope everyone had a good time and got to see how good the pro's are... freaking amazing what they can do on a bike.

You may be done at 2 but unless you rock the off road world there is no way you'd ride the whole thing by then. You might make it back to lunch by then if the trails are dry.
