    The CB-1 is amazing...

It's had it's little nagging things so far. It's jetted lean, the PO put a 900RR shock on it that makes it a boingy mess. The OEM has been much better for commuting.

This one's going to be a permanent addition to the stable. :evil

:clap I've always loved the "little bikes", Hawks, Bandit 400s...

You've tried cranking up the damping on the shock?

Yeah, other than that it looks stock, which is a +1 these days.

I did. The 900RR shock is all wrong. I don't know why people switch it out, to be honest. CB-1 is direct, RR has a linkage... makes for an awful spring rate.

Picked up this 1998 Royal Turd with only 27k on the clock for $1500....... Hoping to make a decent bike out of it. Runs great and at least it has a rear brake! PO broke the lever and never replaced it! That was a scary ride home!!

Pretty much, all I did was wash it, wax it, changed the oil, checked the air filter, put in a new battery. It starts up just fine, runs very nicely. That parallel twin is a real sweet motor.

I am hoping to find one of those to customize next winter. Super reliable and nice styling.

I just found this at one of those places you donate vehicles to. It was donated by a 75 year old. The shop boss enjoyed riding it for a few months. Snagged it for $1150. It has a few sniggles but I think it will be a good one.

And now it's up on Craigslist for $1100.... hope you at least Did something, like check the valve adjustments, clean the carbs, change the fork oil, etc... Bad MC Karma to just flip bikes without making them better. And no, changing the engine oil doesn't count.

Nope, I do it all the time. But I believe in basic integrity. Make things BETTER than before you were there/touched it/owned it. One can do that and still turn profit, without issue.

Do you believe that Integrity is a bad thing?
