Terry- Interested in upgrading the front end of the Thruxton . . . . . It's a 10, but old school suspension isn't . . . . . Looking at springs & gold valves . . . . . . etc. I'll send you an email. Thanks - Robert
Hey Watercat, I replied to your email. Swimmer, My apologies for no one responding to your emails, Did you email me specifically? We have several different options for the 800XC including 25mm cartridge kits, G3-S shocks and Springs & Gold valves for either fork or shock. If you want specifics please contact me directly at terry@racetech.com. Thanks!! Terry
I'd call him. Everytime I have called down there, he either gets on the phone with me, or calls me back. He is quite in demand and I would imagine his email is lower on the list. He is always very helpful and takes the time to talk and answer questions. I'll take that over a prompt email response any day.
Hmmm what was the model of bike you were asking about? My apologies for not getting back with you but I have answered the messages I received. Terry
DR650. I called a few days after that post. I got the shaft assembly a couple of days ago and just got it assembled this afternoon. I have to take it in and get it pressurized with nitrogen Monday and then I will get to try it out.
Hi Terry, I have been sending emails to Race Tech for two weeks now with no response. :ddog Luckily I just found this thread... I ordered and received a new rear spring. Then I ordered and received my FMGV 2606 Compression Gold Valve. They are for the stock 45mm USD marzocchi forks on my 2009 Aprilia RXV. I put in my access code to the Digital Valve Search and filled out all necessary information and I received the recommended valve shim stack. The cL = n/a and cH = dne- So. What do I do? The Digital Valve Search came up empty handed. I sent an email to your address just now and attached a copy of the Digital Valve Search. Please inform me as to what I should do. FYI, I have the recommended fork springs. I'm living in Malawi. A phone call outa here will cost me more than the valve! Thank you and best regards, Steve Bragg
Hi Terry, Seems we still have an email compatibility issue. I entered the following for the DVS search; Rider 90 kgs :Enduro/Trail :Intermediate/B Class :30/44 years old :Standard Height :Standard Stiffness :Standard Gas Tank. The results I got tell me that I need a 0.503 kg/mm spring. I have a set that just arrived. I have the 5 weight oil waiting, I just need to know what shims to us with the Gold Valve. Cheers,
