    Two Qs:
    1. Your vertical parking method notwithstanding, do you like the Anakees? They and the Pilot Road 3s are on my short list.
    2. How do you pass the NH motorcycle safety inspection when your fender chop removed the license plate lamp? Or is plate illumination not a requirement to get the sticker?
    Thanks.

    1) I love both the Anakee 2s and the PR3s. Both very different, obviously. On road, the Anakees feel more triangular and tip in a little quicker. I was able to get my knees down, too. Excellent tire. The PR3s inspire a little more confidence in fast and/or hard cornering and don't howl. Both are excellent in the rain, but the edge goes to the PR3. I haven't worn through the PR3s, yet, so I don't know if the dual-compound tread will improve lifespan, but I hope it will. Offroad, the Anakees performed much better than I thought. What stopped me in that photo was a rock under the belly; the tire was still clawing me forward slowly but surely. Second gear and a lot of throttle will get you out of a lot. I can't say I would have made it out of that hole, but it was trying. And, that was at full pressure, Dropping it down to 20 may have helped. Overall, impressed. 8-10K miles from rear, 15-20K from front. I haven't really tried the PR3s offroad, and I don't really care too. Both are excellent in their own ways.

    2) That's an LED-lighted license plate frame. :deal

    Hey that's me. :evil

Doug how ya doing. We gotta ride again. Another death march. :1drink For a rainy ride it was a good time. All we needed was a dry place to cook dinner. Did Garmin fix your NUVI 500? Mine was shutting down last week. It seem to work after I drained the battery down.

Road the mountainbike today. Learning to keep the out riggers in when I ride.

Yes its you and looking good I might add:rofl

I got a new GPS and then sent the old one back and sold it on fleabay after it was fixed. Plug was fried. I had to have one for the trip up to the Tour of the Battenkill because most of those dirt roads are poorly marked. Yes lets do a ride this fall after it starts raining alot!!!!! and the national conventions are over because between now and then Im on the campaign trail.

It's one by SWMoto from Twisted Throttle. It's been really good over several years.

I have to say I am absolutely in love with this bike! My wife bought it for me for christmas totally bone stock. Everything that I've done to it has been through finding other riders locally that are selling their bikes and sweet talking them out of some fancy bits for cheap :) Total cost is less then $5K.

I absolutely love how well this bike handles the gravel! It exceeds my expectations every time I take it out. I need some more aggressive tires though for sure... the bald Anakees are on their last legs.

I'm currently working in northern Alberta (Ft. Mcmurray) and away from home... this bike is proving to be a great waste of time on all the back roads and dirt trails around here! Keeps me outta trouble... kinda.

Looks like a nice place to ride. Which side cases are those? I know I've seen 'em in the forum, but I like the wrap-under shape and can't find the reference right now. Thanks!
