You guys are right, the light looks even higher now the gaitors are off.

Hi all. I need a vacation to read this thread. Love your mods. It's been years since the last time I was into this forum.
After sitting on the scrambler fence for some time, it was last years Rumble that got me hooked. I found a khaki green efi version in Germany that I'm picking up in two weeks. Yeah, I know it's made in asia, and no, I don't mind. :rofl

The 'scared meercat look' is gone! (That comment really cracked me up!:D)

I managed to lower the speedo and headlight by 2", I think it looks a lot better now.

Scaredofthedirt, chassmash, and gsuer, thanks for leading me in the right direction.

Well seems like my electrical problems continue. Replacing the stock regulator with a MOSFET did nothing for me. Still've been having the occasional (more often than not) starting problems, and today things got worse.

A beautiful day out, I put the bike on the charger for a half hour, so it'd start with ease. Started fine and I hopped on to head into downtown DC for the cherry blossoms. 7.6 miles later, the bike died, while in motion no less. I managed to coast to a stop along the side of the road.

I've got a friend coming by with jumper cables in a few, who will then follow me home.

Spot on gumpt! Much better. Fine looking bike - I like the fact that you're not doing the desert sled thing. :thumb

Looking good! Just need some off-road tires to complete the look.

How long are your rear shocks?

To the potential buyer now in Afganistan. Triumph offers a military discount. I'm not sure of the amount.
