    Ooops, sorry....:wave

Took a test ride and it works really well. Got an annoying air pocket somewhere though.
In sharp (really sharp) right corners when I lean the bike a lot, it stalls on me...:becca Makes it kinda interesting....

    Oh, pics.
A bit boring since I don´t have the fairing, skidplate or navtower yet, but this is the way it looks atm.

I thought the 690 parts were out of production(?). The 450 Rally #s are different, it seems. :ear

Well, Tank # are different, but the rest is as LukasM wrote. Don´t know what´s different between 450 and 690RR tanks.

There is no difference between the tanks from the 690 & 450. The part numbers changed due to the 450 tanks coming painted from the factory where as the 690 tanks are bare plastic.

Yep. I cross-referenced the numbers from one of the guys here sources and it checked out as beaney says. Looking at adapting a 2012 to this configuration. But has the platform changed much since 2010 other than relocating a few things (disregarding engine and suspension specifics)?

Well, have not got the new fuelsystem to work as planned, so got back to original for time being :cry

Good news is I got the fairing and nav tower, so let the build (re)begin! :freaky

Try mounting the LTR pump vertically. I think you'll find it works better.

    Just stumbled upon this thread.
Why, oh why, did you have to plant these ideas in my already overloaded mind?!
When your done, take it for a spin down to GBG so I can have a go. OK? :D

Evil Invader, I envy your access to these rare parts. Do you know if engine components can be had for the Rally bikes still. Or would it be futile because the frame and transmission is completely different than standard?

    Can´t wait me neither...:D

Don´t really know what components you are refering to, but anything should be possible to order from your local dealer as long as you have the part.no.

Budget? Hell, it´s just work, order parts, pay bills, repeat... :deal :lol3

And thanks for the kind words. Lotsa work lately, so build has come to a stand still, but soon....:pynd

    I´ll be back :chace
