Optimus lights by Vision X. There's a thread in the Vendor forum on them with some pretty good pricing.

If you look at this picture, it looks like the light mounts are just pieces of flat bar that can be mounted between the front support of the upper bars and the under-beak area. So I don't think they have to be installed if you don't need them.

There's people waiting in line for this bike, some for months, I seriously doubt they'll take your offer, maybe next year, but definitely not now.....

Good luck! $20 grand sounds like a good deal. I doubt cash will get you a better deal as they'll make less than if you finance.

That's even better, allows you to do either or both.
Of course those spears (turn signal stalks) would have to eventually go...

But it's an indicator in it's purest form. A blinking arrow saying 'I'm going there !'.

Has anyone fitted an additional DIN power socket, looking for ideas for the best place to install one. Prefer below the riding seat area.

That's not true. They are very minimal and on a flat plane. You will barely notice them.

I took a look at the bar that has the light mounts. It spans the front under the beak and connects the two upper crashbars together. If you remove it a substantial amount of support will be removed. Is it possible to install the upper crashbars without this crossbar? Yes. Should you do it? Absolutely not.

I am also certain that the small tabs are barely noticeable and are an excellent bonus when you buy the bars. It's like getting two accessories for one price.

Thanks for the clarification. I love the feature as I have lights I will be mounting on it. I don't have the tools in my garage to fabricate my own mounts and most mount options online are $50+. This is quite the bargain considering the cost of these bars compared to the Touratech ones, the full set is roughly $250 cheaper than the TT upper/lower set + a set of light mounts.

You are right that it is hardly noticeable, with no lights present the bar will not really detract from the look. Anyways, order placed for the lower and upper bars, I think they fit my needs very well.

    Super!

Thanks for the order. I'm sure you will be very happy with the bars. The fit and finish are fantastic and I can attest to the materials as working as advertised - more than once.

I hope you'll post some pics and notes about the install once you get them.

do the bars have to be moved in order to adjust valves or any other maintenance? I think it looks great.

I think that's a great solution for everybody without the factory LED's, allows you to use any LED you want and wire them separately.
If someone totally dislikes the small light-mount tabs, they could be easily cut off, right?

The only thing I don't like is that the crash bars seem to prevent the lights to be mounted upside down so they won't interfere as much with the turn signals.
