1200 GSA, do ya?



That's a US-5 attached to the US Tank mesh pocket side up (either side works). The US-10 and US-20 also fit very nicely - the only difference (other than size) being that that attach with Alloy Hook Straps (included with both packs), as opposed to the shorter, buckle straps on the US-5.

The US Tank has various web loops, so that bags can be positioned further forward or rearward, as preferred. It also has 2 x quick-release clips to enable easy refueling:

Drill 4 x holes per side, use 2 x M4 bolts with oversized washers and a little threadlock to attach each strap and attach the bag on to the bike.



They're not going anywhere you don't want them to.

But seriously... Now that you mention it, if anyone wants to run a Kriega livery on any of the models that Crispy covers (mainly KTM and Aprilia, but I reckon he can do one for any bike that'll take it, given a bit of time), let me know. I'll be more than happy to subsidize the cost in some way.

It would end up scratched to hell on my bike...

Don't ever intend on selling this bike, but if needs-must, the panels beneath the 3mm vinyl (same printer as the KTM Factory Race Team) should stay in pretty good shape.

Prevention is generally better than the cure.

Just an idea of how good the Kriega kit looks on the 990. At least in my opinion anyway, but I am biased.

Thats what I figured, thanks for the confirmation. I'm thinking 3 inch Velcro strap.

This is the awkward part. The GL Coyote is a known entity to me that I trust, versus purchasing the unknown (to me) Kriega OL30 and modifying the straps (if the stock strap after testing is getting in my way). Decisions decisions, haha.

Having made the change... I really don't think you will look back.

As Kriega's US rep and a fellow 990 [not to mention Arai XD-4] owner...

After reading through this thread, and seeing some of the pictures of your setup on your Scrambler helped me pick out some luggage for mine. Just placed my order for a USCombo30 and a US5 with the tank adaptor. Should make for a nice commuting/day ride setup. I'll likely be buying an Overlander 60 too once my MetalMule racks come in.

Excellent! The Scrambler is still one of my favorite bikes of all time and I always get a kick out of seeing them loaded up with our gear. The Overlander 60 will look and work great on those MM racks.
