A quick overnighter with hammocks, a vstrom, and the low country.

It's quite a lot of fun to dive for them (usually in less than 5-10 feet of water). Cleaning them....not so much. During the colder months you can also pick up oysters at low tide.

    Living the life :-)

Geocaching, motorbikes, hammocks, and great photographic skills.

Looks like you had a great little trip.

How comfortable is it sleeping in the hammocks? :huh

I'm thinking about taking my kids(grown ones), and doing the Batona Trail here in S. Jersey in the spring. It's a 3-4 day deal. Would they be okay for that?

Some nice pix BTW. Thanks for the RR.:clap

Hammocks are very comfortable. Check out the hammock forums for all the info you need. Also the ultimate hang is a book I'd recommend.

I packed my old SierraDesigns tent away a long time ago and bought a very early production Eno Eagle's Nest that has become my go to camping abode...love the hammock and sil tarp combo for rain.

    Nice RR, great shots!

Great pictures. Cloudy gray weather tends to just wash my pictures out. You made it work for you. Gives the pictures a surreal feeling.

That is a perfect weekend to me. Motorcycle ride, simple camping and a few good pictures to remember it by.
