    They're catching on:
"Can also be used as small tool holder for motorcycles and bicycles"

To make it seem more like a Touratech order, I'm buying 20 and I'll throw 19 away. To make it seem like a Chicago BMW order, I'll click on the "Submit" button in 2 or 3 weeks. Best of all worlds! :rofl

I ordered 6 tubes for myself and friends living in Cambodia.
Agrisupply shipped them via USPS Priority Mail
    Payment was via Paypal.
They were quite agreeable to the arrangement.

That's a tidy job but I agree it would be better if it was tucked in a bit more.
Mine arrives soon for my DRZ.
I'm wondering if cutting off the moulded mounts would allow the tube to be mounted ~1" further in without fouling the tyre under full suspension compression
One could then fabricate a bracket to hang off the same frame mounting holes that you used.
The tube could attach to the bracket using 2 good quality stainless steel hose clamps.

Hola, Here's my tool tube. I posted this on the DR thread, but this is probably the proper place to post it.

I used an 18" section of double walled stove pipe from Menards, attached it to the bike frame with U-bolts through a pc. of 3 sided square tube, and made wood end caps, held in place with two set screws. It holds: spare innertubes, lots of tools, air pump, a little oil, spare clutch cable, tire irons and chain lube. $17. It went 5000 miles this winter, with no problems. Saludos, Eduardo

I did it all with email to Jerry at the following address.

    gsboswell@agri-supply.com

Shipping cost $50 for 6 tubes, USA to Cambodia using USPS Priority Mail.
Shipping for one tube would have cost ~$30 using USPS.
    Payment was by Paypal.

Eddie - I measure it as about 10.5" (hard to be more specific since they are installed on the bike)

That looks clean. No issues with the chain guard under suspension compression?

I just received my tubes and installed them on the front of my KTM 950. Not sure how well they will work here has anyone else installed them here on a 950?

Only concern is if the tubes come in contact with something they could get pushed into the tanks. I would think (hope) the zip ties would break first. May try some other methods to fasten the tubes on.

Any other concerns I may have missed?

For now In one tube I have four tire irons wrapped in a work rag and a small bottle of WD40. For trips I plan on putting in a fuel bottle in the other tube. This will keep the weight nice an low.

Here are some pic of the installation.

Anyone ever done one on a f650gs? I have yet to see one, with the exception of the PVC tube attached to the bash plate.

Looking for some ideas. Good ideas would be even better.

P.S. I like the KTM idea.

Here's mine on a Triumph 1050 Tiger. I hung em off the case mount. 1 on each side. I removed the cases so you can see it better.

DR-Z400S: I used some aluminum angle and trimed the plastic brackets on the tube. This was about as far inward as I could get without the tire hitting on full compression. The nylon strap is a backup in case the plastic brackets break. Cutout in rear fender allows cap to be unscrewed.
Carb or brake cleaner will take the yellow labels off in 5 seconds.
