Hey I have one of those!!!:clap

Funny thing is it straightened out just fine and lives in my spare parts now (seriously doubt it would survive another dirt nap...).

I i noticed that lever on ebay too wow.

Does anyone here have hard luggage for sale?

Does anyone here have barkbusters fitted?

My left handguard vibrates against the end cap, its pretty loud, any idea on what I could use to dampen the noise. Some kind of removable putty would work.

I have Barkbusters on my '09 XB12X. They work great and are solid.

My left bar end buzzes too. I just pop it in with my hand and it stops (till the next time)..

Is it straight forward to fit the barkbusters, are any special mods needed to make them fit and do they rattle at all?

Here's the only pic I have of them. They fit easily and are 100 times more sturdy than the stockers (which I put on my Ural.)

Those things are so brittle I'd think you would have to heat it to do that. :huh

I have the Kaoko Throttle Lock on my Uly which incorporates bar end weights as well. Do you think the Barkbusters can be bent out an inch or so to accommodate these? Thanks, Lon

I have Palmer Products bar ends weights on mine, they cut down on vibes and pinch the handguards so they can't come off at the end.
Google Palmer Products they have lots of cool stuff for Uly's.

I've had a Kaoko and Cycra ProBends on my Uly for years. No worries.

What about tires for the Ulysses

For instance, has anyone fit the Shinko 705 in 150/70 - 17 ? It looks like they're 6mm taller and 20mm (less than 1 inch) narrower.

The Dunlop performed OK, but I was wanting something a little longer lived and maybe a touch more capable off the pavement.

I heard that this belt didn't last more than 5000km on your bike, true?

I tried 150/70-17 to wheel, but it was too narrow (it can be done with tube) so i choose TKC 80 180/55-17

I have an 06 tall black seat and a well used 06 service manual in the flea market. Thought I would throw it in here as it hasn't gotten many views over there.
    Sorry for the hijack.
    PM me if interested.
    Thanks,

    Pat
