City of Denver? If so, it is required a jury trial for conviction so more than likely they will offer you a plea to avoid that.

F*****g parking meter peon gave me a $75 parking ticket today because they didn't like the way my front plate was mounted.... Really?

Meter was fine, still had 15 minutes left, Platte St., near Downtown.

It's so nice to be free of blame, without a single finger pointing my direction :rofl

The TR is down at Grand Prix getting an ECU reflash to fix an off-idle fueling stumble - so I'm bikeless for a day or two.

I did my trip up Wondervu and down Golden Gate without the bike....and I have to say, I had as much fun as I've had on four wheels :nod :eek1

Well... If I HAD to take a car instead of a bike, that would be a good choice :evil

Yep... my 2006 330xi was pretty fun in the canyons, too.

mechanically seems pretty sound, it's all there and straight - a good candidate to ride for a while as you assemble some parts, then restore it.

I have wanted an old Eldo or Ambo for a long time, this will be a fun project for Marc.

She doesn't appear to need much. I've got a '73 Eldo in white w/ 18k miles that was my dad's first bike. You've traded enough bikes you probably already have a heck of a rolodex but here's a couple of the more useful vendors I've found.

    http://www.harpermoto.com/

CycleGarden's not cheap but they've got parts I was unable to find anywhere else. They can also silk screen the script "El Dorado" onto the battery covers and "850" onto the tool box covers if you need them. I wasn't able to find them as decals.
Dad had this one set up for touring with Wixom Bros fairing, bags, and box. I'll keep the bags on but the rest is coming off and going to swap in the police style handlebars.

ETA: If yours hasn't been done already, think about coating the interior of the gas tank - they're prone to rusting pretty bad. Oh and replace the petcocks if they're stock, the original leak like a sieve when closed.

Is that the same year as the one Darmahman had?
