Thats a beauty. I've got a 94 Helix I bought new in 95 with 65698 miles and its been in storage the last 6 years. That scooter will run forever with just regular oil changes etc.
I just brought home my first scooter too, a 2008 BV250 that only had 850 miles on it. Wow, I should have done this years ago...so much fun. I have a feeling my F650 Dakar may collect dust except for rides that include motorcycle-camping or lots of off-pavement time. For everything else, the Piaggio is a blast. It comfortably cruises at 60-65 and I hit 75 (GPS indicated) on a short stretch of interstate with zero drama. But even better, it's so easy to ride around town for errands: trips to the gym, the store, the post office, the library, etc...I love it. [edit] what great timing -- my 1,000th post!

Congrats! Scoots are easy things to fall in love with! Now you are hooked! My guess is you may find even motorcycle camping is more fun on a scoot! Check out my thread on off roading . http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=579197 Make sure to post stories and pics of your rides. We love pics!
Last weekend took my first ride after a cold winter. There's still ice on the lake @ Trakai Island Castle

Thanks. It's a beautiful plane. I went on a day that the owner wasn't there. My friend has pictures of his Aprilia RSV4 by the same plane, except the plane's owner opened the gate and let him in. Here's a link to a different forum to see his pics: http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?239476-for-the-airplane-guys&highlight=navy+plane They're nice people. My wife and I bought a ride in his other WW2-era plane for my father-in-law's 70th birthday. They really made his year!!!
