I have WINGS on my 990 SM-T (it's really fantastic: quality, weight, price, everything is top-notch!), but the muffler for 640 out of production for a pity.
I personally know producer (Gorazd - stand up guy, he helped me know his country, very friendly with a beautiful family) and he says that for a pity it's impossible to get one on my 640 Adv.

I have an FMF Q4 on my 07 KTM. It's not too loud, breaths well (important here in Colorado), and you can't beat the weight savings! Go for it, you won't be disappointed! :D

Very smilar to mine. Love the twin system Im going for it. I may have to modify the ports as the system I am b uying is off a 2001 model. If it looks as good as this and works, I will sell my Wings.

Hello to all! I'm writting from Spain, to show you my new (for me) KTM Adventure 640 with a LC4 Engine... It's a 2000 model, wih "only" 45.000 km. Its last owner was a workshop manager, so it has been well maintened but it has been also used in harsh.

Some pics from my first ride in a nice woodlan area.

From now, I have jus change the oil and filters, next step remove the used mouse from the tires and add some new extras, it is still not looking as I want.

I apreciate your messages here, I enjoy a lot with your lovely adventures, and its preparations.

    Keep it going!!!

Welcome to ADV, congratulations on the new bike! :D With 45K km travelled you should check with the previous owner if he has replaced the cam follower roller bearings - it is good to replace these before 50K km. They often wear out at around this distance. If you do remove the cam cover to replace those rollers it is good to replace the bearings & seal in the water pump too.

Also, your pictures are not showing, look in the "Ask Baldy...' section of the forum for instructions on posting pics.

    Cheers
    Clint

    Looks sweet!
Why did you decide to change the WINGS muffler?
How much will you want for the old one? Is it a titanium one?

That is quite the sharp looking bike, but honestly I would like to see a photo of the bike in the back ground under the cover! :evil

You need to take our your trash as well! :rofl

You'll have to check the Super Enduro thread for that, and regarding the trash, that is a barrel of recycling, and worth a deposit where I come from. Give it ten years, and you guys will doing the same.:lol3 Messing with you, but when I'm in the US, it shocks the hell out of me to see very easy to collect and recycle items just tossed out. I figure an aluminum can is easier to melt than digging up a whole new pile of rocks. Plastic bottles make nice fleece jackets and much more.

yep my BBQ & bourbon money :evil
10c cents for each can , cool drink bottle , alcohol pop glass bottle & flavored milk carton etc that's marked with 10c refund.
"South Australias" way to recycle . ... pity all plastic & glass bottles are not 10c refundable I.E. wine & spirit glass bottles , milk plastic 2L & 3L bottles are not 10c refundable only recyclable.

the 640 went to a unseen buyer in pilbura - western Australia
plan to buy a newer model later & will do the same rear 625/660smc swap

Hello Thanks for the information... I woud try to check with the previous owner... I checked the rear wheel bearings have been changed and some more stuff, like the seals but not this point. From now the bike is looking good and it's sounds well, It has some km, but I bought it at good price as well, it was a temptation wich I couldn't resist... I will try to read the owner's manual to check if it includes how to replace the cam follower roller bearings. If you have more information or a link please let me know...

I will check next time in ask badly to show you the pics, firstly I tried to do it, but it didn't work, so decide to put them in my personal blog and share it with a link.

Clint, thanks one more time :D
