indeed - I'm thinking there are several thousand ADVr's who would pass up an intimate evening with {insert name of hot model/starlet here} to trade places with him :evil

Yes, they must be street legal... but nobody care about in which country ! (they are travellers, not residents)
A friend, a canadian guy, rode the Dakar in 2009... his Honda was (built and ) plated in Netherlander.

I remember when I was kid, going with my bicycle close to the road used by the bikes, Day 1, heading the boat to cross the Mediterranean sea.
What a feeling to hear and see them.
Once, one guy stopped at me and asked where's the closest place to buy a newspaper... the one he already had (used as a windproof shell) was wet ... goretex was not available yet

    Ted... I'm Jealous ! :D

I never feel like I have thanked enough people or the right people or the ones doing all the reporting for us home bound peons that sit by this box and wear out our F5 button and the SBS and Euro sports spots.

I have been informed that Versus has the Dakar scheduled daily for us home bound folks.

Thanks again to Deadly and all the others, GO NED , GO Jonah, GO Bill, and all the riders. :lol3

Today, Jonah and Ned head to scrutineering. Finishing touches and last minute work is currently being done to the bikes.

Not much for me to do today, sort the boxes for the truck with Robb and wait for another red meat fest for dinner :freaky

Starting Saturday I won't have free access to the web so the posts likely won't include photos. Suppose it won't matter as the F5 thread will be well underway by then :clap

Phew, just finished reading the whole thread.

Ok, you're right, seriously I'm glad you're there, of course I'm much happier sitting on my ass in Fort MacMurray instead.

Be sure to say hi and give a handshake to the boys for me, Jonah might need a hug.:lol3

Oh yeah, can you ask Bill about his light/fairing setup for me? I like the look of those LED's and I need a front end for my 525.

You can also put me on page one for the first batch of books.
