Are those Anakees on those new sweet wheels?

Me thinks you'll want some TKC's or at least Heidenous for the abuse we're gonna give that bike next Summer :evil

Or is that for the old wheels' duty?

Those are the Tourances that came on the stock wheels AJ. I put them on for the winter cold weather riding. I have the heidanaus all ready for spring!!! I rode with the Heidanaus for about 600 miles and dont like the feel on the cold wet pavement, so they will stay in the heated garage until the snow pack clears and we do some real riding! :clap

Woody, I am looking for a tubeless spoke wheel for my F650 gs twin. I want a true tubeless without tape. I understand you can make those with caponord wheels, true?

    Hi worthydog,

Yes we can lace Caponord 19 x 2.5 front, 17 x 4 rear Tubeless rims to Rad billet hubs with stainless steel spokes, nipples. The set is around 2950 + shipping with black rims, and includes a rear sprocket with hardware. We use KTM 950 rear hub so we can use a stronger/lighter cush design, a lot more sprocket choices.

    Thanks
    zach

so it's 24 hours +/- til the start of this years Dakar.....

just want all of my customers and ADV inmates to take a moment to cheer these two inmates on for the next 15 days and 5,000miles +/- as they give their all to this incredibly challenging event....and more importantly pray for their safe return.

    Hiya Woody,

Have two OEM r1150gs wheels mounted up on my r1150gs adventure. I would like to bring it back to factory appearance so would you suggest these bare silver ones be anodized at your shop and if so can you duplicate that crazy blue/purple/black hue of factory? Other option is buy new rims for 800-900 bucks and have those trued...

    Whatcha think?

Oh and by the way, thank you for helping so many of us here keep our factory rims in shape! We are glad you found us!

    Cheers

I bought a new Husqvarna Strada this past weekend. Wifes approval was only for the black one...as the Terra (red) that comes with proper sized wheels doesn't come with abs. So I bought the black Strada...knowing full well I'd be calling Woodys for spoked wheels. My question is what else will be needed to make the abs function on the blacktop? The Husky has the magic button so it'll be easy to turn off the abs once in gravel/dirt..also since its not a full balls to the wall dirt bike...what tires would you suggest ? No single track for me ...or at least not much. I will stick mostly hard dirt with a lot go gravel.?..but still will spend most time on blacktop just getting there..thanks

I am in the process of purchasing an 03 Tiger 955i that will predominantly do dirt duty. I want to make a 21" front. Can you give me an idea what that will entail? I saw those BMW wheels a few entries back with the Galfer wave rotors. Do those work better than standard rotors? Do you think a Tiger could get by with one Galfer wave rotor?

    hi,in a nutshell[sorry am severlely crimped for time:cry]

1,,,do you have wires or mags on your strada??
2,,,what size rrims were you hoping to get ??just front or both???
3,,so far all rim size changes have not affected the ABS systems...
    4,,what is affected is speedo/odometer readings,,,FYI some bikes have re-calibration circuits,,,yours???
5,,keeping it mostly on pavement and fire roads i'd opt for our 50-50 set-up cpnsisting of 19/17 combo ,,you'll have the biggest selection of dual-sport tires available,i bet 905 of all dual sports come in this configuration,,since the marketing types know most of you will spend most of your time in the scenarios you just gave me...

    hope that helps
