We are missing out ... in Palenque today, heading toward Merida tomorrow.

Makin plans to go to Cuba for a week or 10 days ish.

Try to get to Calakmul ruins in Campeche state. It was a trip highlight for us.

We are really enjoying our time here. We had an excellent dinner & discussion with Guatrider & Mrs Guatrider last night. Today he took me for a short guided tour of the hillside and scenic areas.

No we didn't go to the Hostel, but we did cook some sausages on the campstove last night. This morning we took both 250 cc bikes on the hillside for a morning ride.


The Kawa 650 he rode yesterday was backfiring a lot during engine braking.

I don't think it is what I'm looking for : It's to heavy to have real fun out on the dirt
I'm just trying it out while my bike is in the shop...gearbox

As far as I know, you can leave it only for 3 month .

Our paper said 90 days and I believe if you cancel it, rather than suspend it on exit, you must wait 90 days before you can get another one. Not 100% sure on that.

We had a close call . With the high winds yesterday a branch came off a tree and narrowly missed Rosie !
