I'm in the process of finishing my dope/fab class. I think I might like this better than sheet metal.
my pilots have great tans
Without. Add another 600k plus cost to build out for camera and transmission. Also that 750 figure isn't for the Observer variant. That's another 150k-ish. There's consideration about doing a second if we can find one with the floor hatch. The glass nose is cool but it doesn't do much for what we use the aircraft for. They're a few types out there, you just have to vigorously pry them from the owners. Right now there are other options that seem to be viable for our needs. I've been way impressed with the capability of the R44. We have a groovy mount and it's really been a great option for the clients. There was a time I really hated the Robinson, but that was due to my ignorance of it. Now I can't work in it enough. The right pilot can make anyone a believer. I has one.
Here's the NASCAR rig. I get to play in here too If there is anyone who has their shit together it's these guys.
FYI: There's a 2008 PC68 Observer in Porterville, CA. with 230 hours for less than non-Observer list price. However, I don't think its got the camera hole. RE: Potty on board? No. You basically can't take all the gear, pilot, operator and still have 7 hours of fuel. You still need a plastic pee bottle though.
The owner of our plane knows just about every P68 for sale on the globe. It's just down to numbers and he knows his numbers very well. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he's done a search and found this thread. Howdy RH I did just cut off 8 inches of hair this morning. There was enough on the floor for a to make a small dog. That should save some weight for fuel.
Now this thing is going to haul some serious ass: http://gallery.me.com/relentless#100041 1,200 HP in an airframe that could be described as sleek is going to produce some very impressive numbers.
