There's been a few requests for updates on Nev's outfit, and work continues:wink: Phyllis:bow has been working hard on mating the ural to the bike, and I was at his place today so took a few teaser shots of what he's done so far. Photos have been taken at every stage and Nev will no doubt post up the whole story at a later time. These pics don't really do justice to Phyllis's work, but when you see the full story you'll know what I'm talking about:clap

Wow!, fantastic work, thanks for the pics Clancy.

Interesting how Phil has put the front upper support behind the cylinder pot.

    Again, looks fantastic. :clap

Now comes the best bit.....watching Nev ride it for the first time :lol3

With Phyllis setting it up, it will be as good as it gets.

This weeks job lot is for him to fabricate and fit the raked out front tripple clamp, in lieu of Leading links.

He is confident that with the existing Telelever set up on GS's it will be comparable to a LL, and it will be adjustable:clap.

    How good is that?

Been researching for a while Dave. Scary.

The question is not if but when, and how. Bloody Nev..

You're partly responsible for this build, and mine.
After your little lie down on the way to Top Hut, and the fact that both Nev and I had little confidence issues with the sand:cry , we both decided to build outfits:lol3

    Sorry Clancy,
Please, just send me the account for services rendered.

I am not suggesting that I am getting off 2 wheels clancy, but rather adding 3 wheels to the collection. I have been quite keen to learn as much as I can about outfits but hey, its bigger than ben-hur, its not just about slipping down to the cycle shop for a test ride, from manufacturer a,b or c.

The Urals look interesting, but would like a questions answered first. Anyway I'm enjoying Nev's build.
