F^&%&kers! your guys are really making me want to ride on Sunday. My wife is taking Nightwolf house hunting Sunday so now i'm daddy daycare duty. Damn that Nightwolf, you'd think a fellow rider would pick a wet and cold day to house hunt. :huh

Drop some bikes for me and maybe bust a shifter or two.

This sounds good, if you guys dont mind a noob tagging along, not really into doing any single track or such yet. Post up a meeting place and time and I should be able to join you.

The 3 passes that I'm familiar with (North Fork, Deadmans & Racehorse) are likely to still be under a lot of snow. I'm curious to hear what you find on them - please post the conditions back here afterwards.

There's 4 of us confirmed for meeting at the TransAlta Rd in Waiparous for Sunday at 10 am... room for more if anyone else is looking to head NW from town.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Just messaged you but I realize after reading an earlier post of yours that it's probably a bit too technical for my buddy on his 950 superenduro. That thing is pretty big to be fooling around in the mud. We'll definitely have to hook up for a future ride though :)

One of the other guys coming will be on a 950 SE ... I think it will just leap over the mud :)

We are meeting at 10:00 am Canadian Tire in Okotoks for anyone who is interested in doing some winding dirt roads - about 220km total. Heading south to Coleman - tentatively. Be a few minutes early if you want to be sure you don't miss us. There will be a 950 superenduro and a 640 LC4 enduro. Hope to see a few new guys.

    Hey Guys,

I assume you're meeting at the corner of the FTR and TA at 10 am. I'll be there on my BRP.

Yes - we'll see you there. Looks like a nice mix of bikes for the ride: BRP, TE610, 690 Enduro, 950 Super Enduro, KLX400 & a 450EXC

Great ride everyone! Especially enjoyed watching Rellik work his way up that steep trail and come back down. Also enjoyed how well Macuser could toss his KTM640 around.

    good route, good company.

Thats the second photo I've seem of me stuck in the bogs.... Why are you guys picking on me???

Seriously though, my first time ever in a bog was a great time and a shit wack of work. By the end of it I was getting it figured out. Just ride over the trees and wheely across the small stuff.

How was the rest of the ride?

Excellent ride but hard work... my arms are killing me from trying to keep up to the faster guys. Chucker took us on a 3 hr tour of some really nice (and dry) trails, with a few decent hills and some tighter single track.
