Did anyone get a pic of the scoreboard last week? I'd like to put it up n post #2.
I'm also curious how the scores looked with guys moving around classes.

Yes! See post #1. One day event.

THe past few years have been awful sketchy with the weather. By that, I mean that a snow storm was either moving in or had just moved out, but the weather on event days has been great.
For that time of year around here I would plan on going and then plan on bailing if something is hitting on that day.

San Ysidro can take a pretty good hit and be rideable within a day or two. Lots of sand and rocks. There are a few clay areas that will be avoided if it is going to be wet (I hope).

We always have a december event. I think we had one that was canceled in all the years I remember. I have been trialsmaster twice when we probably should of stayed home!

I am, if I can abandon my wife briefly after her knee replacement surgery this Friday.

I intend to set a proper December trial--all sections within walking distance, nice and easy lines in case of bad weather, and everybody goes home before dark. I'm operating at a disadvantage, though; since my injury I cannot ride Intermediate ups, so I'm gonna be hammering on everybody's turning skills. :evil

Hey now….I was specifically told when I joined NMTA that we ride rain or shine. I remember starting this year with an absolutely beautiful day in San Y, So, December should be just fine to ride!

Nice pics! But that was just a few flurries. We`ve had a few with 4-8 inches already on the ground. We had one trialsmaster almost become coyote dinner as he was the only one camping! Something to do with purple snow, blackberry brandy and crawling on all fours! When Brian asked,`Bob what is that purple snow` HMMMmm.:D:1drink:rofl

Awesome pics Jess! Thanks for posting!! :clap

Yeah, that one took a little prodding for me. I was mostly concerned with the highway condition back to town as the snow continued to fall, but it ended up being a very enjoyable day of riding! :D

That day I was a lonesome trialsmaster, the hill in rio rathole was a parking lot. Being in a dodge van I crossed the median and made the hill against traffic! Trials on!!

I was reminiscing with a long time club member not long ago, that AVTA in Wichita KS, has canceled 1 event in about 25 years. Not due to "riding" conditions as much as "travel" conditions... it was like 10F, it has rained the day before, changed to freezing rains, then froze to sheet ice on roads, and was kind of trying to snow that morning.

But most of the time, trials day has the best weather we've had all week! (knocking on wood as I type).
