My new Stumpy FSR 29R Expert EVO. Had it a little over a month. Started our relationship with a 3 week road trip to Moab, Fruita, Thunder Mtn trail near Bryce, and a short stay in Bend. Now back to the mud and steep technical trails of North Van.
I wouldn't buy a full suspension bike from them, but if you're buying a hardtail then a MTB is more about components than the frame anyway (assuming you get something that fits you fine). At least at the entry level. If you can't get consistent shifting or your front fork rusts shut in a month, well, you're not going to enjoy riding your bike very much. And since Fuji branded bikes are on the low end, you'll want to spend on the upper end of their range to get something decent. --Donnie
I have a few bikes and one of them is a Fuji professional 3.0 It is a carbon fibre road bike with a mix of tiagra and 105. It is my favorite bike. Dont really know what that says about the company as a whole but i would buy from them if they had what I was looking for. I heard some where that most bikes were made by Giant and just rebadged anyway. Is there any truth to that?
There's about half a dozen big companies in China that make pretty much everyone's frames. Fuji is one. Giant is a competitor. There was an article on it on ?cyclingnews? ?bike radar? explaining the whole thing M
Fuji is over 100 years old. Japanese Company... And yea they outsouce the frame build to be competitive on price.... A very good value bike. I like mine.
Ahem...yeah, I was. I've had the Knolly for a few years now, it's the sweetest mountain bike I've ever had (I think it's the eighth) It does everything well, but I never took it into the park (Whistler downhill park) it's not enough bike for that thrashing. Roadie Townie Just missing the cross bike.
The new Endorphin is on my short list. We don't really have the terrain here to justify it though....
