Will these work for you? The first pic is while I was still wiring up the HDB clamp a couple months ago. Sorry the second one was shot thru the windscreen this morning and it still has some ice crystals on it.

I think you mean to say "make it an R"
You have at least three choices:
1. I own an x and purchased a set of stock R wheels for $500 with a front brake assembly (lever, hose, calliper, etc.)
This is a 30 minute swap over. I haven't sold the X wheels yet. The stock R rear sprocket is 1 t bigger, but the chains for both bikes are the same.
2. just buy a 21" front wheel, maybe a warp 9 w/ the bigger x rotor included, and swap out rear tire, change or do not change gearing
3. Buy a new wheel set from Warp 9 or get a better quality set and use those. These will include rotors and sprockets. $700-1500

Mine came with the Cycra Composite Probend guards. They don't have the aluminum bar in the back and are all plastic. I really like them, but I don't see many people using them. I probably would not know about them if I did not already have them. They seem really strong and of course won't bend easily.

That looks like a tough hill. It does not look that steep in the video until the guy tries to walk the bike back down. :eek1

The D606 front tire on my WR-R has started - as they all do - to cup on the middle-out knobs. On other tires that don't have a defined rotation direction I've flipped them around to get more life from the tire, but due to the tread pattern I haven't tried this on the D606 cuz I'm afraid it'll handle funny.

Has anybody done this? If so, is there a noticeable difference in performance?

I turned my last 606 front around and ran it until it was worn out completely. I didn't have issues doing that. YMMV

Some say the 606 front runs better when mounted backwards!

Yea but Iron Gap was like rock steps. The video at least looked like something that would be easy to ride up on a motorcycle.

Speaking of Seat Concepts... I'd like to lower my ass another inch. Has anyone installed the low seat and regretted it? If so, why?

I have the regular height seat concepts that I use for road trips and a low corbin that I use for trail riding that I like.

I know that didn't answer your question but just some fyi.

I flipped my front D606 and rode it for another 1,000 Kms before I replaced it with a new tire. I never really noticed any issues with regard to handling. I keep the tire pressure around 18-20 psi. Worked great.
