This old (1967?) Austin Healey 3000 MK III has been sitting in the lot where my Dad lives for quite a while. Looks to have been driven straight from the "barn".
My 96+ year old Dad is still kick'in my ass at cribbage.

My little leaning sidecar project-

The "HacKayak"





Does great on and off-road so far. Still have to finish the floor, add some more bracing and possibly add another pivot point. I may cut part of the nose off also, as I won't have people in it. Only my dog and gear. I'm going to add a fog light as well. I ran out of shield gas last night just after I added in the last absolutely necessary gusset. Good timing.

It looks like it does not come off for waterborne sorts of miscreant behavior? I was talking to a kayaking buddy of mine about doing something similar, but with a removable tub that is still river-worthy. :3

Ahh, yes. Unfortunately mine does not do that. However, I thought about possibly building a platform with a curved frame that you could easily strap a kayak into. As for this design, I'll be coming up with a means of strapping my functional kayak and mountainbike to it. :)

That looks like a very "proper" sidecar. And handsome.

How does it go?
'Wasp' is part of the equation. What is the engine? I first thought Honda, but it appears to have dohc.

Full time 2WD? Does it have some kind of CV joint or how does it handle the different wheel speeds in turns? Stomp a Ural's guts out how? speed on road? ability off-road? What's a comfortable on road cruise speed?

Painted my MZ 301 winterhack "army"gray ( well, actually my wife did, she used to be a painter by trade )
It's a matt grey, just like I wanted it to be:





Kept the front of the "lastenseitenwagen" as it was, with the original logo of the DDR electricitycompany where they used it. It will get a clear coat to protect it.
