Is that your Vespa? If not, did you ever get anything else?

CB the vespa is not mine, the Honda on the other hand IS mine. I will get a vespa or bigger scooter, just not now. A friend has show interest in buying my scooter but we will see.

Today we went for a ride and here is a picture!

That thing needs some offroad tires, fast.

I bought it in Iowa and am flying up this weekend to pick it up. Four days and counting down and I am starting to realise the purchase was real and i will be riding it next week.




I have wanted a white P200E for a long time to replace the one I sold decades ago. This is the pre-mix and battery free magneto model, beautifully restored three years and 1200 miles ago...

I sent a few accessories and the seller kindly installed them!
I plan to post on my blog as I ride home this week, and I have a thread on modern Vespa as well. I ll do a proper ride report on ADVrider when I get home, however it goes!

Somehow, some way, this thing ended up in my shed.

I live in an over-regulated society.
The "powers-that-be" try desperately to save me from myself, usually without much success (shades of "I-Robot"?).

I can only imagine the fits of apoplexy that ride would send the authorities into locally.......
