I don't see them for sale very often. Last year, I saw a red GLS at a used car lot, near my house. I drove by the next day, to take a look, and it was gone. Sales guy said they had it less than 48hrs.

When I bought mine, it came with a "Lifetime Oil & Filter Changes" certificate from the dealer. Every single time I take it in for service, somebody from the sales crew comes looking for me, telling me they get calls regularly, asking about used EuroVans, wondering if I'd like to trade mine in on something new. I just smile and say, "No, thanks."

    A little photography humor.......

Just had our first daughter two days ago and was at the park and taking family pictures.

So first picture......DOH....wrong light settings....but got both dogs, (note the happy Australian Shepard ) but wife and baby are too dark.

...adjust the settings....use a little flash. Got the wife...CRAP...Aussie laid down :cry

Walked around th van, "Whipped out the training commands and MADE the Aussie sit where I wanted  "

....not very happy with me is he? :lol3

Aye..congrats on the little one. Wife looks happy; all is happy!

By the way the wheels need to be 16" 'ers. Was at GoWesty today in Los Osos, CA. They got tons of Vanagons, EuroVans...mostly EVC's.( http://www.gowesty.com/vehicle_sales.php). Parts and accessories are $$$$....I've been told that "What GoWesty wants, GoWesty gets". Looking for either 8-10' Fiamma awning. Anyone got a used one :D.

    cheers

Thanks guys:clap She is the sole reason I did the Eurovan project. Before her my wife and I traveled all over the country on our motorcycles. We don't want to stop traveling and want to include our daughter. So until she is old enough to ride on the back she gets the Eurovan.

.....don't worry.....our motorcycles are not leaving the mix! Wife loves her bikes too much:deal

Congrats on your daughter. I have one too, and a eurovan. I'm pretty sure I responded to your Craigslist ad trying to get seat rails. I finally found some, so my project gets going again with new carpet next week when they arrive. Btw, Evs will easily tow a couple of bikes or a smaller dual sport on a hitch carrier. Also, when you camp with moto friends they will all want to hang out in your "living room."

Couple years ago, I was driving in France with my brother-in-law (he lives there)...new EV near us on the autoroute...he points and says, "See that VW? It's a new one."

"Yeah. You know we can't get them back home. You know mine's an '01."

    "That one's a turbo diesel."

    "Crap. Seriously?"

    "6sp, too."

"You're trying to make the pain last, aren't you?"

Yep, they are everywhere in other parts of the world. With much more desirable drive trains too! 6 speed, Turbo Diesel, 4x4, etc.

Not cheap(new) in the other countries though. :deal

1 of 2. Wow. I was filled with pride every time a " Porsche guy" asked me if my light green metallic SC had original paint. :lol3

And now back to your regularly scheduled Eurovan thread.
