That is correct Gone Again. I am optimistic that the change is for the better. They had gone progressively downhill since leaving Glen Osmond.

When Team Orange purchases Husky does that mean they might learn some about EFI??

Been mapping out a rough route from Mt. Bryan East to Yunta for the Saturday on the upcoming Caroona trip to get an idea of distances (see below). :type

Starters so far include myself, Pete (Pejie) - Definites. Awaiting for two others to confirm, one of whom will likely join us on the Saturday morning from Gawler.

Any thoughts on the proposed route welcome. Been reading a book on the Sawer family from Pitcairn - a great read if you're into some local history ("The Sawers from Pitcairn" - available at Amazon, both Kindle and print).

Still looking at options for the return leg to Mt. Bryan East - will depend on what time we arrive at Yunta.

Anyone feel like a three or four hour ride out of Gawler Sunday morning? Maybe to Truro? I'm hanging out for one of their coffees.

if you go from burra through mongalata and collinsville station watch out for washouts don't know if the council has repaired them plus as far as i know no petrol in terowie unless the station has reopened ? i'm thinking of going the back way though canegrass to renmark then to taplah.

I can't work out the benefits of EFI either besides more horsepower, better fuel economy and lower emissions... I'll keep thinking.... I'm sure it's useful for something??

Shame if you can't Gary, I have a window of opportunity on Sunday before lunch and didn't want to waste it, so I'll probably head off around 0800 and head towards a Cornish Pasty with sauce and a double shot flat white......yum.

What are you doing Claude?? Paul is over in Germany so he can't make it.

    Thanks for that Berty.

This time last year, the Mongolata Rd hadn't been graded for some time and some of the crossings typically looked like below. There were a number of nasty washouts, but had all pretty well been cordoned off, or were out of the way.

September last year I was back up there, and it had all been recently graded........very disappointing :baldy

Have to se what this time round brings, but thanks for the heads-up.

Pete and I both have 600+km ranges, and the 2 others will have extra fuel (or can just syphon off me).:dutch

If you go through Canegrass, would love to hear about it. I want to get up to Danggali at some stage. and surrounds.

Gday, We ride this area a fair bit, I see you are going to divert towards Pandappa Conservation Park, any reason? their is no access into the park. Yes you can get fuel at Terowie.
