    Glad you came out unscathed.

    'Tis the season.

So, late starts as necessary when you're up around Creel and elsewhere.

One more ice warning, on a different bike:

    Escaping the cold:

Who else has plans on being in Mexico after Christmas and in January?

I know of Jimmex, Mark883, Schizzman heading for Durango then the Espinazo, 40D, and San Blas etc.

I'm running Baja, San Diego/Tecate to Cabo San Lucas, as an off-road rookie tagging along with a maniacal squad of insane sand roosting MX veterans.

Any other Mexico winter escapees out there?

I've seen that in the San Bo Mountains along the CA coast. Damn slick when the morning dew freezes. Luckily, no on fell that time but tip-toe conditions for a while.

I'll be in PV for a month, but not on bike. Wife doesn't ride, so we're taking big bird.

Dennis: If I break my leg in Baja, I'll have MedJet drop me off in PV and we can go to that microbrew house I can't remember the name of at the moment :lol3

That would be Los Muertos. Their cure might be just what you need.

Among many things, your pizza oven :deal

I have two daughters leaving at 0800 tomorrow for Guatemala City for a Christmas mission trip.

When they return, their one request, is Dad's homespun pizzas

    Y'all invited too...

McFoil, et al, will be in Country Jan 25, Laredo, taking 57 down to Cholula, over the mountains to Veracruz and back through Xilitla. Couple weeks. Getting great routes from MM.

You will be so close to El Sotano De Las Golondrinas in La Huasteca.

    (Just north of Xilitla)

DO NOT hit Xilitla w/o El Sotano on your résumé

Now I have to learn to BASE jump. I guess there's not much learning to jumping. It's the landing that, that one should study.
