Very nice, what about some GPS tracks, or towns? What about gas stations? on your route.

    Thanks!
Yes, I'm going with GPS. I did lots of miles in off road following the GPS tracks.
I went in towns but I'm trying to go to remote areas with little population.

I Morocco there are a lot of petrol stations, if not you can buy petrol in “shops”. But one of the reasons I bought the 660 is its long range (about 400km). I also have a tool tube to fit one liter fuel bottle.

Where did you get the sticker kit from, custom kit or is it available from somewhere? Awesome looking Tenere!

So, is Yamaha going to make this the next update?
And reduce the weight to 170 Kgs?

    One can only hope.

That's pretty impressive I think! :thumb Going from 0.23 hp/kg (taking the 208.5kg from the (dutch) Yam site, all fluids filled) to 0.28 hp/kg (saving 5kg on the cans), about 25% increase... FWIW.. How do you notice it while riding?

Would it matter much if another (single) can is used?

It would be great if I can save 10kg in the bike. I don't weight it yet but I save a lot also in the rear light/mudguard and front wheel with single brake.

Also I think this 208 kg are with the full tank (23 litres).

No idea with another can but the Akra works really nice... and has a fantastic music!

Ridind the bike is completely different. I come from a Super Ten 1200 and the firsts days with te 660 I was worried, I ride full throtle all the time!
Now the bike is really fun, the revs come up really quick.

Off the road builds also a big bore kit 686, 714 or 727 ccm!!... I am tempted...:evil
