Finally got to use mine last night. Pulling the coil off the spark plug that is. Boy that sure helps. Would have been hard without it.

    Thanks.

We're coming out with a tamper resistant oil cap for the R1200's, that can be removed with the small end of the hex tool. Now the Dual Tool will have a third function.
It will be CNC machined using 2011 aluminum and be clear anodized. Proto types are done and pictures are coming soon.
Curious about the interest level out there.

    Made in Montana

We have a person that does our website and she is on vacation. Here is a sample just for you.
The new R1200 oil cap is made of clear anodized 2011-T4 aluminum and fits the small end of the Dual Tool hex. We hope to have it on the
    website next week.

Yep, on the site now. I'm having trouble seeing the oil-filler plug as it's silver on a light background. Is it possible to take a higher contrast photo of the plug that shows the locking mechanism?

The oil cap doesn't have a locking mechanism. It is tamper resistant and the small end of the hex tool is used for installation and removal.

My bad... how about I call it the "plug to tool interface?" So, the filler plug has a hex head impression with a square raised center?

Looks like today will be a good day to go see the fall colors around Kookanusa Resevour. Maybe I'll run into one of you guys. That would top it off.

We just got a nice product review done by Moshe Levy from Motorcycle Consumer News. Looks like lots of people are buying for Christmas already.
It also looks like we need to update our website. Moshe did a great job of researching uses for our tool and found that it works on more bikes than we thought.
Hope everyone has a nice Christmas season.
Thanks for all who have bought our tools.

Can you post the updated list here? Looks like it would work on the 1200 Super Tenere?

    Sorry for the delay, Trevor.
The small end of the hex tool, will fit the 1200 Super Tenere. I went to the Yamaha dealer today and it fit perfect.
I've also noticed that the hex tool will fit the BMW 1200/1300 K bikes, the BMW 800 bikes, Triumph Tiger and the Kawasaki Concours.
According to the write up in Motorcycle Consumer News, our coil cap tool will also fit 2003-2004 oilhead R bikes and the 2010+ camhead R bikes.

Thank you for your patience. The shop has been swamped lately.
    Tryin to keep up.
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
