That's what I have been finding too but I keep trying. Seems like a lot of people that want them. If I ever do get it figured out I will sure post about it here. :D

I would just dive into, say, the New Zealand regional forum and ask someone if they can order up the parts and ship them to you. I'm sure they'll just bolt on.

Thanks. Is the cig lighter socket a standard feature on the djebel? I thought it's not a wise to have accesories drawing power from a mototcycle that has no alternator?

While i'm on here can somone refresh my memory, what are the pvc tubes called that attach onto the skid plate? I want to make one tomorrow? Every time an oil change is required do you have to remove the skid plate or is there an access hole?

I found this rig in the basement of the original owner..It hadn't been ridden for years, but with only 2,100 miles on the clock it didn't take much to get her back on the Trail..
I was looking for a lightweight bike that I could ride with my wife who sports a tw..This one contiunes to fit the bill and surprise me.

There is a clean SP200 on CL in Ohio, they want $1800. Nothing as clean as yours though.

The quality of the component materials in the older bikes seem to really last and hold up..I've added new tires and the fmf pipe, which really woke this little rig up..

Why is it, no matter what I own or ride , nothing is quite as fun as the 200?
Yes, the muffler makes it pop a lot better. Did you mod the airbox or carb? www.kientech.com

It was 19 degrees out when I rode the bike the 20 miles into town for breakfast. 30 degrees in the garage when I started it up.......
It's amazing how much peer pressure there is when your meeting your riding buddies to eat.....

Has it been established whether or not Suzuki is keeping or dropping the DR200??

    Thanks, Jon

Best to go talk with the folks at CycleSport. IIRC, their bikes come directly from Suzuki, rather than American Suzuki, so availability might be different.

It was sunny and in the 40's so I took the DR out for a spin after classes...found a few little stretches of fun, and had a pretty good time just seeing what's out off the main slab

Found a neat old gate dedicated to the creator of the school I go to (Rose-Hulman):

Hard to read but it says "Chauncy Rose Memorial Plaza"

    Swung over to the levee

and found a neat old baseball diamond that's been deserted for some time:

Man is the DR fun anywhere!
