Took this one on opening morning of the WI gun season. 11pt non typical. 19" inside spread (12" G2s). Browning A-Bolt II 7mm Mag.
Jesus that's a pig! I'd be mounting that one for sure. My Hortonville buddies went up north and sounds like having limited success so far.
Yeah - he'll be going above the fireplace. Most likely the biggest whitetail I'll ever shoot, so I have to hang that one.
Nice.. In West Fargo and hunt about 38 miles to the South West of WF and we find plenty of birds.. Major difference from Illinois.
Today we hunted a large piece of public land in eastern Colorado hard for 4 hours. We saw 3 birds, shot at one, and missed it. 6 hours of driving. Totally worth it.
My son missed his 4th consecutive buck in two years yesterday. He truly is the Scott Norwood of hunting.
My son got this guy yesterday just south of Boscobel WI. About a 100 yard shot using my Savage 7mm-08, perfect heart/lung. I shot a doe to add a little more meat to the freezer, 10 yards with the Marlin MR7 in 06.
