[COS] Rog, don't let him know that I sat on it before he picked it up. I bubbled on the seat ;hehe [/COS]
You owe me a new keyboard Mr. Mayor, I just spewed margarita on my keyboard. Gerg, thank you for your selfless dedication to WARPED.
My current version of the classic margharita... fill cocktail shaker with cracked ice 1.5 Jiggers Cazadores Reposado per drink 2/3 jigger Cointreau per drink squeeze 1 whole key lime or mexican lime or rangpur lime per drink shake vigorusly strain into chilled coupe or martini glass thats rimmed with lime and sea salt perfection!
Eliminate steps 1 and 3-5 in the name of keepin it green (or any other excuse you can think of) and you've got a decent drink.
Actually, I was going to say, step 5 sounds a bit froo froo BUT, the rest sounds good. Except I'd use more than 1 lime.
'shake vigorously' ?!? and, 1 ripe lime thoroughly squeezed makes 1 to 1.5. ounces of juice. I use a juice press (same one we use for OJ). Key limes, mexican limes, and rangpur limes (the last is actually a tangerine relative) are quite a bit sweeter and juicier than the usual american lime.
I was drinking margaritas and couldn't count so good. I meant step 6. " strain into chilled coupe or martini glass thats rimmed with lime and sea salt" Wtf is a coupe? For a car I know, but for a margarita? Or in a martini glass? Sea salt? :huh Should step 7 be drink with your pinky in the air? Or add an umbrella? I usually use key limes myself. They just seem small so I need to use 4 or 5.
Better... Come ON folks, lets get this thing rollin'!!! Get off the fence and get your name on the list! and send in your money! Gerg
Are you guys actually trying to discuss the best margarita? After all my work at proving which ones were best. Here's a hint: With the number of bottles we've gone through in the past few years alone, I think we subsidized Sammy's next album production...
