I may try to make it to Dismores even if I can't go on the whole ride, just to meet everyone and say hi to Mr. Vintage and thetourist.

Good inagural Palouse ride today guys - definately in the ADV spirit! Good to meet you, Spaniard, and I'm glad thetourist could join us as well. I'll post a few photos in a minute.

I've got another ride in mind when it's warmer and my bigger bike is in one piece - we should do a lunch run to Enterprise. Lots of great twisty roadsand incredible scenery.

Sounds like a fun group! Unfortunately I am no longer technically in the Palouse - I moved up to Spokane last fall. I'll pm you my email for use in a list, though - I love the Palouse, and enjoy going down there. I won't be able to ride until May, though, as I sold the bike I had and my new-to-me DRZ is waiting to be picked up in Texas. My big Texas fly-and-ride is at the end of April, beginning of May. After that . . . :ricky

The road to Enterprise sounds like a great ride. I have actually made part of that ride before but we only went as far as the little diner where we stopped for a quick bite to eat before heading back. I have drill this next weekend and then Spring Break starts a week after that. My wife will be out of town for dance camp in Provo, UT so if anyone wants to go on a ride(s) during that time it will be easy for me to take off with little notice. Again, it was great meeting everyone and in spite of the cold and the embarrassing little crash, I had a blast and am looking forward to the next one.

Well ever since the first ride (Feb. 28) I have been anxious to get out again. I am just wondering if anyone would like to go on a ride this weekend (Friday and/or Saturday). Moscow weather is going to be about 45 degrees both days and Lewiston is going to be about 55 degrees both days. I am up to go anywhere and it looks like all of this fresh snow should be melted by then although things may be little more promising at a lower elevation. Anyone interested?

Kinda quiet on the Palouse, I think everyone is frozen / hibernating. The snow's beginning to really bum me out...

When I first started looking at the weather for this weekend I was excited because the forecast said warm and sunny. Now it seems like every time I look at the weather forecast they keep extending the snow one more day into the week. I propose that we have a "slap a weather man day" since they toy with our emotions like this. :fight I did however go for a ride yesterday down to the Lewiston/Clarkston area but it wasn't anything to be excited about. Maybe next weekend.

It was fairly warm down in the hole today so I rode down the river and went up Steptoe canyon. Lots of rocks coming off the hills into the road, lots of fun going up the canyon.. Much colder on top. The gravel roads on top had some nice slimy spots and some of those deep gravel / mud pudding under them spots. Got out on the highway and the wind made it a full time job to stay on the road. I figured that the WSP who lives in Uniontown would be out, and he was. The straights south of Uniontown are his usual spots.

New guy here. I have an '09 KLR 650 with 500 miles on it and am interested in some local rides, weather and time permitting. On Monday, I went down Wawawaii Canyon, then along the Snake River, up Steptoe Canyon and back to Pullman. Later that day I rode to Palouse, then down the north fork of the Palouse River to Colfax and up the south fork of the Palouse River and around the west end of Kamiak Butte while trying to avoid the rain clouds. I'm looking forward to better weather.

Welcome! The palouse riders are coming out of the woodwork...

I'd love to go for a ride sometime soon, but I'm on daddy daycare detail all this weekend. But don't let me stop you!

Well if you are up for a ride sideboiler, let me know. I think that this is the worst spring break ever. My wife is out of town for some dance classes and I have all this time on my hands to go riding but the weather has just been uncooperative. It just makes me sick. Excuse me while I throw up.............................................. :baldy Anyway, if you are up for a ride anytime this week or this weekend, let me know. :freaky

I will put my name in the pot. I am still a local (again). I actually live in Palouse now, just moved over from Moscow in December.

I have a KTM for my go anywhere bike and a GSX for the street. More than williing to go riding whenever/where ever.

I have only gone about 300 miles so far this year though. It is still early and I can't wait for the weather to get better. :jump

You guys should ride up to Rockford and have lunch at Fred Necks. I could ride down on Robins 250 Ninja and meet you. :D

When would you like to meet and where is Fred Necks? Depending on what time you want to meet, I think I can do it.

Take the CDA Casino exit off of hwy 95. Left at the stop sign and go 10 miles. When you get into Rockford, go left at the stop sign (there's only one) an its 1 block up on your right. You can't miss it.
You pick the day. I still have 10 more days off ( been off since nov 1st) til we open our shop back up. Oh, and bring that lazy bum Mr Vintage along with you. :lol3

It is 3:15 as I right this and looking out the window it looks sunnier than it has been all week. I am thinking of heading in the direction of Avery for a ride and will be leaving around 4 or 4:15. I have to finish some chores and shower really quick. If anyone wants to go, let me know. I will check this again just before I leave. We can meet at Rosaurs in Moscow. I hope someone available reads this in time because some company would be nice, too.

4:14 PM - Shoot! No takers. I'll have to relate to you how awesome it was when I am done.
