Hey Eric, You are completely correct. This thread was originally started for specific REV'IT! questions, but when the RevZilla partners opened the platform to include all gear, it missed my radar. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Ali, Thanks for the answer. What about other brands you carry? Would Klim Latitude or Held Pezzo fit the bill?
Hi Genka, I had to think on your question, as it seems almost every robust pant on the market is waterproof or has thermal liners to fuss with. Both the Klim and the Held are Gore-Tex pants, so if you are using a waterproof rain pant over your protective gear, it seem like a waste to pay the premium price attached to anything Gore-Tex. The option I like best is the Dainese Drake Air pant. The outer shell has similar construction to the Defender pants with a large air vent backed in 3D mesh. It has a euro fit, and at $259.95, it's much more reasonable than any similar pant offered by REV'IT!, Klim, or Held. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Just gotta give a shout out to the guy's at Revzilla! Placed my order for a new XD4 Explore laaate Monday afternoon heading into night... and lo and behold it was here at my door when I got home Tuesday night! THAT is some EXCELLENT service... not to mention the folks were very friendly and helpful as we spoke on the horn... Mucho Gracias Amigo's! Will be doing more business in the future JJ
Hey JJ, Thank you for the kind words. I'll pass it along to the rest of the team. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Sure thing Ali... I ordered anothe XD but in 1 size up and it's in the hallway now... Again 1 day shipping awesome! JJ
Yeah, thanks Ali for hooking me up with ReV'it! customer service. In the last 5 years I have had 3 issues / encounters with them and each time they have exceeded my expectations. This time Gus came up with a solution on his own that absolutely blew me away. Suffice it to say I'm a ReV'it! customer for life.
I would like to say Thank you RevZilla for all of the videos! Those helped me to make the right choice for a jacket I picked up for my wife (used, sorry did not buy it from you). I really am grateful and I look for your sight every time I am thinking about buying anything moto related. I wanted to ASK... Do you do a MILITARY DISCOUNT?? I will be looking for a little more gear soon, and just wanted to ask so I would know when I placed my order. Regards, Brian
Wow is all I can say about Revzilla. I ordered a pair of Held gloves in the morning and they were delivered the next day, early. Like having a warehouse in your basement. Good work, keep it up.
Hey Ford_Prefect, Thank you for the feedback and we are happy the videos helped! We don't have an official military discount in place, but please give us a call when you are ready to place your next order or shoot us an email at cs@revzilla.com, as with some products we have more flexibility than others. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Hey lhendrik, We live for positive feedback over here, so thank you for your kind words. It's already been passed along to the whole team. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Got a problem. Womens Ventura Pants we purchased about 2 months ago: The knee pads are in the wrong place. The pants are the long version and the fit is excellent. Moved the knee pads to the lowest position and they are WAY off. The shin portion is on her knee caps. After 1000 miles over 3 days, her knee caps are literally bleeding. I have pictures of us on the bike. The length of the pants is fine. The knee armor is in the wrong place. What can we do?
can you do a comparison for me on the Rev'it Tornado Jacket and the Tour Master Intake Air 3 Jacket, they look almost similar are they? (i have revit tornado pants, i like the flexibility and have an extra liner for the really cold days) i have the tour master already and love the versatility...i'm on a RTW and considering a new jacket, mine is in great shape just wondering is it worth it, obviously easier while i'm here in the states to get it from you...a four season would be good but trying to stay in eternal summertime so breathabilty is more of a concern, as i can always add layers for the rare cold days
Hey Bloodline, I'm sorry to hear the Ventura pants are not working for you. I have a pair in the long version, and at 5'10", I too wish they were longer. Unfortunately, RevZilla would not be able to have the pants returned as new, but we might be able to come up with a solution. You have two choices for keeping the pants and changing the armor. My first suggestion is to use a different, more flexible armor such as the Forcefield Nitrix armor branded for Roland Sands Designs that can easily be trimmed to fit into the armor pockets in the Ventura pants. Another easy solution is to remove the OE armor from the Ventura pants and use a separate knee protector, such as the Forcefield Strap On Knee Armor that would be worn under the pants and in the correct place. You are welcome to contact me directly at 877-792-9455 if you wish to discuss further. I am very familiar with the REV'IT! Ladies Ventura Pant and could assist in a solution. Cheers Ali TeamZilla
Well, this just stinks. The knee pad is obviously in the wrong place. The long pants fit her perfectly, otherwise. Lesson learned. If they don't fit perfectly, send them back, immediately. Now we are stuck with them. Anyone want to buy some 2 month old Rev it ventura long pants with knee pads on the thighs?
Bloodline, We would like to work with you to find a solution. For most lady riders, this pant is a good fit and pretty much the only textile pant for ladies that has a tall inseam option. If you contact me directly, we would like to send you a free pair of the RDS Forcefield replacement armor to try and make the pants you've already purchased work. You can email me directly at ali@revzilla.com or call me at 877-792-9455, ext. 112. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Hi 5kadv, The Tour Master and the REV'IT! are similar from a function standpoint, but vary greatly from a quality and stylistic standpoint. Tour Master does a fantastic job of packing in the features for a very reasonable price, and the Intake Air 3 jacket is no exception. The REV'IT! Tornado Jacket is going to use higher quality materials, Knox CE approved armor, will be an obvious match to your Tornado Pants, and depending on your build, offer a more exacting fit. Tour Master is cut much more American or generous in it's fitting shape. If you are a bigger guy or think you need extra room, Tour Master is a good choice. Lastly, if you are already wearing Tour Master and find their products meet your needs, then that is a compelling argument to buy another Tour Master product. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
A work of caution to potential glove buyers. I wear XL in virtually every glove I own so I ordered REV'IT! Phantom GTX Gloves in XL based on Anthony's video stating that they are now true to size. So unless I got some old stock these gloves are nowhere near the correct size. They are at least one size too small and very possibly two. I am going to return rather than exchange as I can't be confident that a 2XL will fit properly.
Hi Bmac, We would be happy to help you find the correct glove. It's true that REV'IT! historically has run small compared to it's American counterparts, but we typically find the Phantom glove fits slightly larger. The use of Gore-Tex Xtrafit technology also gives this glove a more precision fit. It is possible the glove is labeled incorrectly. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to try another size of the Phantom or a different glove altogether, such as the Held Air & Dry that will launch mid May. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Yeah, hind sight is 20/20. My Olympia Stealth suit fit perfectly other than the knee armor pointing at the gas tank. I wasn't so much worried about voiding the warranty as having gear that fit so I just relocated the the knee pad pockets and went on my merry way. Perhaps at this stage in the game this would be an option for your better half too.
