Those look very nice. Can you give us some details on the cases?

    Cheers,

    *ashamed look*

it's my shitty diy attempt at a lightweight chain guard. i never have a passenger, and i just wanted to keep the little bit of lube sling off of the wheel/frame/me.

it works. is it pretty? hell no. is it lightweight? well, it's made from 0.125" x 1.000" aluminum flat bar stock, so yes. I painted it with high temperature BBQ paint, that stuff is as durable as cast iron.

...was it fun to make? yes. i just wish i had a vice and workbench in my garage to go with my tools. i'd then have a fighting chance at some decent fabrication.

I'm a Ducati guy who loves his old monster too much to ever part with it.

But I gotta say, I think the modern Bonnevilles might be the nicest looking bike on the market. Everytime I see a pic I think I need to have one.

I owned this for a year before trading it in for a Speed Triple. It was a great ride but (to me) was lacking something outside of city riding.

How about some pics of the anniversary models. I think the 60th and 110th models are awesome.

This is my new to me T100, 2007 model 6500 miles. I fitted the tank knee pads and gaiters.

That would probably work but I already bought the gaskets for the job anyway, was only £20 all in and looks a simple enough job anyway.

    Famous last words :hide:wink:
