Very cool. My dad is working in Hilton Head Mon-Thurs each week. Makes me want to take a few days off and come for a visit.

Went to the IMS in Charlotte. Color me unimpressed with the show (minus a SWEET Vincent & a custom, hand fabbed hill climber), but downtown Charlotte was actually pretty cool...












Next weekend? More NC...Max Patch if the weather/happenstance allows

Well, Max Patch is gonna have to wait. A good friend and colleague in the Guardian Program just told me yesterday afternoon that she has a tumor behind her eye, and two additional masses on her brain She is already a 2x survivor of breast cancer. Things are looking quite grim.

Think I'm gonna stick around and sit with her til her family gets here on Saturday.

God...I just don't know what to say. They have confirmed brain cancer, cancer on her spine (chemo for this starts today, & additional radiation some time afterward) & there is a distinct possibility that breast cancer has returned for a third time.

UGH. If you have any prayers to offer, send them her way. Her name is Michelle.

Just exchanged a couple texts with her...seems in good spirits, despite the brain and spinal cancer both being stage 4. She didn't say things were inoperable, but I'm geussing that is the case & that it's just a matter of time.

hey there, was looking for local riders and saw this old post. struck a chord with me because i'm wanting to ride down to Savanah at some point to check it out, and hit up Beaufort SC along the way. lemme know if you are interested. any nice weekend really. I am off on Sundays and Mondays, until mid-April, when i return to my normal Sat/Sun weekend schedule.
