It doesn't appear that there is a whole lot of modifications to get this thing set up like this. I'm interested in replicating this look. I'd also like to see about coming up with a clean way of adding hard cases typically used on a HD (think the parallelogram shaped style). Can anyone help?

I can help, taillight looks like a Kawi turn signal. The indented fuel tank, looks photoshopped.

    its easy.
the romance is the tiny headlight, black rims, big tires & no suspension.
almost any old standard will work for a platform

With no subframe and almost no fender there's no way, "clean" or otherwise, to mount a set of harley style bags.
And why would you even want to? That would completely defeat the purpose of the "bobber" styling of that bike.

For the record, I think this one looks stupid. Those huge tires just don't work with a Honda 350. Makes it look like one of those little Yamaha 200's with the fat little knobbies.

I think it is pretty cool looking...other than the cartoonish tire sizes. Everything else has a nice raw/stripped look without being ratty.

Thank god the pipes are not wrapped and there are no "ace cafe/checkerboard" add-ons.

Black rims with maybe just a slightly larger than stock tire sizes might get most of the look without going too far...like this one.

IDK about the hard cases. Some simple, smallish, unadorned black leather (or retro dark brown) might fit the style and easier to take on/off.

Odd... I like the TW200... and Rokons, but the big tires don't do it for me on a street bike.

    Just another worthless opinion

    Cheers

Just an observation...in Minnesota if you can't ride in the rain, it ain't worth having a motorcycle.

and I wonder what that 50% increase in unsprung weight does to the poor old ancient suspension?

Lowered suspension, heavy tires, rough ride. It's a small bike to start with, adding harley bags might be a little out of proportion.
