Can the air filter be serviced without removing or loosening the rack on that side? Do the mounting bolts rust? I ask because my junky ebay racks pose problems on both issues.
Hey byways, sorry it took so long to get back to you! I haven't had any complaints with the bolts rusting, and the ones on my bike are a couple of years old with no problems. I'm not sure if the side cover is removable with the rack on. I'll find out for you from the customer who bought the one I've sold.
No rusty bolts here! You can remove both side covers to access the battery and or engine air filter without removing the racks!
