turns out hooters in Lawrenceville has a bike night last Tuesday of the month. I actually had been to it several times along time ago, right after they opened. Ya know back in the chopper craze. Back then bikes were every where. These days not so much. mostly sport bikes, a few Harleys & live music. One of these. some hulie hoops couldn't he have gotta some better pictures you say :huh your welcome
I was just reading over your last adventures. I can tell you are longing to come back to Arkansas! Looks like you are having a good time. FYI, Bikes Blues and BBQ is 9-18 to 9-22!
I do need to get back to ark, I've been sceeming how to do it. But once again I screwed it up. I'm taking the wife to az that week. Maybe next year. Been keeping up with ya'lls vacation on fb I'm starting to think we ain't gonna make it to Sturgis this year (we ; as in u rayray & me)
Saturday had to do the work thing, rode the chrome slug in & stopped for a sit down breakfast, after all it was Saturday. left work around lunch time, needed to drop the chrome slug off at dr slicks for 20k service. thought i'd take the back way. maybe not back to the super slab
then some back roads wifey picked me up & I fed her some ted's Montana trout for her, buffalo burger for me that afternoon i'd thought i'd ride down for the return trip of this guy https://www.facebook.com/events/344912472278067/ but after we got back to the house, I was attacked by the couch. A couple hours later I woke up, was walking by the window, stopped & thought that looked like bill out on the porch. Bout that robin came in & said "bill & jim are out in the front yard & want to know if you can come out and play" I grabbed my boots rolled old blue out and away we went... First stop was dalhonga, then on to Clarksville
Bill took us by the cornelia community house. the fountain out front. The company I worked for along time ago had remodeled the intior of the building. Plus my niece had gotten married there a couple of years ago. But there was a memorial off to the side i'd never noticed. It was to a pilot who flew a recon plane in vietnam. He spotted a large group of bad guys over taking a smaller group of our guys. In his unarmed plane he flew down just above the tree tops and opened fire with his rifle time & time again taking on fire till he was shot down & killed.
