In one word... yes! The only thing I have heard to be different are the mounting tabs on the rad shields between an 06 and 07. Common, Kawi has tried very hard not to change one damn thing!

www.happy-trail.com And they are by far some of the nicest people to deal with. Excellent build quality, great instructions!
Thanks, I sold that bike so you'll have to tell the new owner about the fender but I agree it would look better black. Now I have a 2001 XR650R and a 1987 VFR700 I really enjoyed modifying the KLR. I'll be keeping my eye out for a basket case KLR that needs an EX500 engine swapped into it.
Here's a picture of how mine used to look. It has an IMS tank now and I redid the tubing gaurds for it. Only I haven't mounted them back on yet. Thinking I'll change the design a bit to make it more versatile. Like a rack above the headlight to mount my Thermarest Matteress on. I made all the tubing stuff. And the Bags... I'm too cheap to buy it I guess. It has taken some hard get offs and saved the tank from harm. I did buy a Moose Engine Gaurd cause I wasted the stock one in that last fall. And, it has had the Doo done. In the works are a bigger front brake rotor and braided brake lines. A Corbin Flat seat and a 685 big bore kit cause you can never have too much. I really like riding the big big single. Don't see any need for a bigger bike right now. This one has 17,000 miles on it the first year. Who knows, once I break the Corbin in maybe I can get 25,000 added on this year. Curtis
I had a pretty rough get off today while going though some mud and muck. The best investment I have made so far have been the Happy-trail.com Nerf bars and Alpinstar Tech 6 boots. Without either of these two items, i am sure that I would be in alot worse mood. No damage what-so-ever to me or the bike!!!!
