Thank for the guided tour of Cedro and Coyote Canyon on Saturday Matt! I enjoyed every bit of the ride except the 2 x 4 bridge crossing. My CRF250 X was the perfect fit for these tracks This would be some great riding on a Gas Gas TXT Pro or the like. Maybe next time I will bring one of those seat-less wonders and give it a go.
That was fun. Enjoyed the ride along. I need to go out there with folks that know the area. I have ridden some of those single tracks but who knows. My Gaser would be fun there but a bit boring maybe? The XR 250 is very fun.
Apologies for the threadjack but a bump for local east mountain area options. Cedro Peak is south about 15 miles from my house. La Madera road is about 5 miles north from my house. Just thought I would share a bit of diversity. December 3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IenxKYKZgW0&feature=share&list=UUbGpyJF72e8jf4vnTyh5Ctg
I lived a mile from Cedro peak in Tijeras for five years and exclusively rode mountain bikes there. I miss NM to the point where if I was told I can no longer live I the Pacific Northwest, I'd move back to the SW immediately! I miss the trails, the landscapes, the seasons and the food! Hell, I even miss pulling the occasional cholla off of my leg! Loved seeing some news from my old stomping ground! -Mike
