On July 17th 2013 my best friend 39 yr old Greg Grewell (aka. Poster Boy)

was on a solo adventure ride on his 07 KTM 990 Adventure bike when

he was struck and killed on US HWY 95 out side of New Meadows Idaho.

He was traveling the speed limit, which was 65 mph, and headed due

south, when this moron decided to turn left, right in front of him. Greg

struck the rear quarter panel of his GMC Yukon, even though he was

geared from head to toe he died instantly...

Greg was an amazing motorcycle rider, and I know if anyone could have

tried to avoid the accident, or laid it over it would have been him.

Greg not only loved bikes, he was truly very passionate about them.

He was a wicked bike mechanic, and was a perfectionist at what he was

working on, he had this saying "that looks better than factory right there"

and it showed when he said that.

Greg was truly a brother to me, and I am so grateful that I had the chance

to know him, we got to share some of the most epic dirt biking memories

that you could imagine. I wish so badly we could have had more time to

share together. I would trade it for any thing...

He lurked here on this site a lot, Him and I were always emailing

deals from the flea market, or stuff from the OC forum all the time.

Roost on dear Brother you will never be forgotten...love you always Greg.

This is the hardest thing I have ever had to type. Words cannot describe

the hole I have been feeling in my life, especially in my heart.

Miss you so bad Brother...:cry :freaky

below are a few photos of Greg's last ride.

Seeing those pictures of Greg brings a smile to my face, great guy to ride with, always fun.
So sad that we had to loose him. Never a ride that I do not think about him at some turn or some fun move. That day (and night) at Taylor Park will always be a top 5.
    Always missed.

So sorry for your loss and the loss his family has suffered. No words to make things easier, but this is a reminder to us all to live each day to the fullest and "love 'em while you've got 'em."

    Peace to you.

What became of the driver of the SUV???? I'm sorry for your loss, and rest in PEACE Greg. He sounds like a real adventurer. And to think, this all happened at riding the speed limit.
