Holy crap I'm already ready for college football! This article got me fired up. http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...ge-football-schedule-2013-best-saturday-games
...in the meantime, any speculation on Oregon after Kelly and probation? Have we seen the last of 'em?

With the ACC GoR deal, I surely hope that conference realignment is over for while. I'm no longer a kid so I hope that I simply don't know what will get to them, but as someone who matriculated college in the late 80's, this seems embarrassing for my team/school....which I though was a "big time program" http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...ootball-twitter-photoshops-harry-potter-joker
Nope...I don't like it either, but I do like some of their writers. Spencer Hall in particular is usually right on. Of course sometimes he's so far over the edge, I don't know what he's talking about.
Interesting tidbit on the 2013 NFL draft. S-E-C S-E-C S-E-C 2013 NFL Draft Picks By Conference (or Division) <table class="tableizer-table"><tbody><tr class="tableizer-firstrow"><th>Conference</th><th>2013 Picks</th></tr> <tr><td>SEC East</td><td>32</td></tr> <tr><td>SEC West</td><td>31</td></tr> <tr><td>ACC</td><td>31</td></tr> <tr><td>Pac-12</td><td>28</td></tr> <tr><td>Big 12</td><td>22</td></tr> <tr><td>Big Ten</td><td>22</td></tr> <tr><td>Big East</td><td>18</td></tr> <tr><td>C-USA</td><td>8</td></tr> <tr><td>Mountain West</td><td>7</td></tr> <tr><td>MAC</td><td>7</td></tr> <tr><td>Sun Belt</td><td>4</td></tr></tbody></table>
Yeah, did you hear that mutt on the NFL channel? $75 a game....yeah he will be right over. And the QB is going to teach him some things....uhhhhh, he won an NFL playoff game..when was the last time you did that? Just a dude trying to get his 15 minutes of fame and he got it.
Interesting concept...less games, better games (might open up more time for a playoff... Saban wants to drop FCS games, play 9 SEC games...
A few years ago, I would have thought this might be impossible. A segment of the top schools in the NCAA form their own athletic association? Now it looks like it's almost a lock...the world is upside down. Link
