All you guys who want to play at Slades, drive a few hours up to Loftus' place for this ride. It'll be worth it.

Well, I just rode to Starbucks and waited for the guys to come back from their romp in the woods. I heard it was a good ride, though. I'm a little too scared to take the GSA off the tarmac.

Time is not usually on my side. Two little ones. Good thing I commute on the bike, or I would hardly be riding at all :cry

Ugh... totally wish I had my bike right now. :cry

I'm just taking comfort in knowing that in 4 days, at this time, I'll most likely be rolling into Fontana, checking into the cabin as quickly as humanly possible, unloading the bikes, and heading up 28 to FUNLAND!

Something tells me that you've got your priorities straight. All I know is that it does a father's soul good to get out sometime for a day or three, too. I return a much better father and husband.

You know it. Unfortunately, my job has me on the road a couple of times a month. That does not help for little getaways.

BUT, I do have three days in the mountains coming up next weekend. Blue ridge trail :D
