My recently finished Yamaha XS650. 23" rims front and back, David Bird looped hard tail 6" stretch 3" drop, hand hammered seat, home made gas tank, home made leafer front fork, and rephrased motor. It's a real hoot to ride.

Ride is a little choppy. You feel the choppiness in your hands. I need to shorten the links from the leaf spring to the axle rockers to get some more travel out of the front end. But the leaf spring on the seat is great for soaking up the bumps.

I love your bike, and all the creativity that went into it. Really nice work! :deal

but I must say, though, that I wouldda shaved the Yamaha logo off the engine cover. It would be the final straw to keep those folks guessing as to what it really is! :eek1 :lol3

(I went outta my way to shave any company logos offa my lastest monstrosity. I don't want any affiliations.)

It is the work of a Craftsman! I am curious to know if JJ considered building a fuel tank for the bike that looks like the skin of the sidecar. That would have completed this project. I'm sure it would be no easy task, but it would have looked even cooler.
