I've got kids today or I'd be there.

Breakfast before the show sounds like a plan.

Lessons for being late? Nah, no one had to teach me that, I was born with the ability.

Today is a legit excuse though, I haven't got the plates for the wee yet because I didn't get the last piece of paperwork in the mail until yesterday at 16:57. DOL promptly close at five.

Rachael's making herself pretty now... so that's another reason.

hey guys! I moved to the area a few months sooner than expected and now reside in cda off ramsey.

I have a quick question about the cold weather we had last weekend. It looks like I have some thick oil coming out at the front of the cylinder since I last checked it, does the 13 degree weather have some impact on my gaskets or anything? Would that cause enough of a gap to leak some oil? I moved over from Seattle and California before that, so I am not used to much below freezing.

    cheers,

Nanc and I just got home from Cabelas. I picked up a heated pair of gloves, normally $199, for $80.09! These are the microwire Girbings. They have mostly XL and L left over, with maybe one set of smalls. Nanc takes a medium, so we didn't get her a set. :(:

I also found a returned Cabela (Girbing) microwire heated vest, size L. Picked that up for under $60! It looks perfect, so hope it works, actually looks like someone may have got it for Xmas and it was the wrong size, so they brought it back unused. I'm taking a chance on this one as it is a no return item, but what the heck. For the price of both items, I don't think I can go wrong.

The batteries for these items can either be charged using the included 110 V a.c. charger, or an additional cigarette lighter charger. I bought two of the Cabela/Girbing ciggie lighters for $8.50 or something like that each. That way, if I'm out flyfishing or camping, I can charge up the batteries overnight in the truck.

The gloves are in the back of the store in the bargain room.

No more cold hands, at least, while driving the hack in the winter! :clap

100+ (s)miles today in the mid-50's weather. Saw a ton of two-wheelers out and about. We hit cheney/spokane rd, turnbull area and then valley chapel, rockford, etc. Thank you mother nature for finally letting us get out and play!

Just rolled through. Alas, there was no Frednecks time built into the day's schedule. I reckon we were through RF around 2pm or so.

Got out later today for about 70 miles, little chilly but a great day really. I need to hit up Cabelas tomorrow and see if they have any more of those gloves!

    Welcome to the area Andy!

My guess would be that the leak has been forming over time and you only just noticed it.

The only way I could see the cold causing an oil leak is if there wasn't enough antifreeze in your system and a frozen water jacket caused a crack. Is it between the cylinder and the head or cylinder and the crank case? Or just out of the center of the cylinder?

Did nearly 200 miles today. Usually stop here to sit on the bench and relax.

Was out at my father-in-law's house on Madison rd. near valley ford yesterday. Two riders, one on what looked to be a Beemer 650 and another on a black KLR 650. Any of you kids?
