If it had a belt clip I would use it daily...why they built it without shows it's age I guess.

Would like to see a photo of an older one. They've been produced forever it seems. I wonder if the one you have was an old military issued one?

"This new tool did not go unnoticed by the US Military. The Woodman's Pal® or "LC-14-B" in military terms, was standard issue from the early part of World War II through Desert Storm. G.I.'s and the US Army Signal Corp. relied heavily on the Woodman's Pal for land clearing operations. At the time of the Vietnam War, the Woodman's Pal® was designated the "Survival Tool, Type IV" and was issued in air crew survival kits."

I've bought some 20 knives in the last 30 days, the Beckers are my favorites so far (some knives are still in the mail).

I like the little Boker I got, I may need more Bokers.

Your telling me, I'm kinda out of control. I'm seriously thinking of asking to be banned from thebladeforum, after only 30 posts there. The exchange forum there has some smokin deals.

I think you can get them for the largest two models above (BK7, BK9), but I'm not sure.

The BK2 for sure comes with the kydex sheath, the 5 1/4" long blade is a full 1/4" thick, this one is one stout knife (sorry the pic is of the back of the sheath):

    [IMG][/IMG]

Edit: Adding this top view to show thickness, the BK2 is in the middle.

Here's a couple of my diver knives (again, not my pics).

Tiburon by Buck, designed by famed kayaker Ed Gillette.

My folders. Have to get into the safe to get the fixed blade stuff...
Left side top three all Benchmade, the black Tanto has been in my pocket daily for about 7 years. Bottom left is a little Pro-Tech auto blade. Right side are all Boker, top is ceramic blade. Bottom 3 are auto blades, two of which are never carried from the Tree series.

My daily-carry. I lurves this knife. Never failed me. The girl hates it though - the action is a little powerful...every time she tries to open it, it jumps out of her hand!

If I'm going into the woods, I carry a Russell/Green River Works Knife. I've done all sorts of crazy things with that knife, and it's never lost its edge.

    (not my knife)

In the woods, I also carry a ToolLogic knife from ThinkGeek. I love that thing. Doesn't hold an edge worth crap, but does all sorts of other cool stuff.

I wanted the thinest lock back pocket knife I could find, and this was it.
Gerber Trendy. It came with a money clip on one side, but that was quickly removed.

I'm slightly off-topic, but need advice on the size/type of machete suitable to take along on a bike camping trip.
