I'm thinking about getting a DRZ 400 sometime in the next year or so ($ permitting) as a more offroad-worthy bike. Thing is I haven't actually ridden one yet, so I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to let me come over and check out the bike for size and whatnot to see if I'm considering the right bike or not. I am either in Portland or Corvallis so would rather not have to venture too far. I will, of course, provide beer.

    Cheers guys.

I've owned a couple KLRs already, thanks though.

Looks like I may have someone helping me out in Portland. Thanks ADV.

Hi there Waffles, I love my DRZ its a great bike. Lots of power with good gas mileage too. Being a very small person I had to have a custom suspension job done to bring the bike down by about 6 inches. If you want check out the short bike I will be riding near Nestucca the day after Thanksgiving.

Cheers LittlePosum. I'll most likely be staying in the PDX area this weekend though. Enjoy your ride, I do love Nestucca River Road.
